Portland thrives when neighbors support neighbors. Whether it’s providing essential resources, afterschool programs, or food assistance, Lift Urban Portland (Lift UP), William Temple House, and Friendly House are coming together to serve our community—and we need your help! 

Join us for the Spring Volunteer Information Session and discover meaningful ways to get involved. 

📅 When? Monday, March 10th 

What Time? 4:30–5:45 PM (with a Q&A between 5:30 and 5:45) 

📍 Where? Friendly House (1737 NW 26th Avenue) 

Snacks and light refreshments provided! 

Volunteer Opportunities Include: 

Support kids & learning – Help with childcare and afterschool programs at Friendly House 

Assist at events – Lend a hand with community events and gatherings 

Glean food – Rescue surplus food from local grocery partners 

Deliver food boxes – Bring nutritious meals directly to neighbors in need 

Support pantry operations – Help distribute essential groceries 

By volunteering, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening our community, whether by helping children thrive, ensuring families have access to food, or supporting local events that bring people together.
