Join our Board of Directors and Make an Impact 

We are seeking passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors starting this October. As a Board Member, you will join a dedicated team of 14 committed supporters who work tirelessly to ensure WTH can continue providing essential counseling, food, and community support to the most vulnerable of the Portland area. 

Board members will serve a three-year term and attend 6 virtual meetings a year (every other month), as well as participate in committees that may meet more regularly (typically once per month), including the Executive Committee, Finance Committee, Advocacy Committee, and others.

Who are we looking for? 
Ideal candidates will have experience in:
 

  • Counseling or Mental Health: Licensed clinical experience or familiarity with the mental health landscape in Multnomah County.

  • Retail Industry: Management or ownership experience in thrift stores. 

  • Lived experience: Understanding of mental health challenges, hunger and/or poverty.
